The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Lugo Manes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Txindoki. Garrapatita Futbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lugo Manes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lugo Manes in the 11th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Fausto Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Aloisio Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Xabel Oquerruri fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Xabel Oquerruri a yellow card for diving instead. Xabel Oquerruri kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Leones FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fidel Mundo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 25th minute, Fidel Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taurino Caraballo was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Igor Muc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Igor Muc really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Garrapatita Futbol's Fausto Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lugo Manes in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Fidel Mundo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taurino Caraballo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Garrapatita Futbol's Fausto Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloisio Munet in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Garrapatita Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Ponce Perero. Taurino Caraballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloisio Munet in the 41st minute of the match. Valentin Folle scored 1-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Taurino Caraballo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, Igor Muc made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Leones FC's Taurino Caraballo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Aloisio Munet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Txindoki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A well placed Valentin Folle short distance shot in the 65th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Tancredo Erce charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tancredo Erce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 75 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Muc came free, but Taurino Caraballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Fertus hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Leones FC's Aloisio Munet shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fausto Txindoki but with some difficulty. Florentino Igon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Lugo Manes came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lugo Manes couldn't finish the play. Fausto Txindoki was a little too slow when Lugo Manes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 3-5. Garrapatita Futbol's Fausto Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Garrapatita Futbol from getting a goal against them. When Igor Muc fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrapatita Futbol's protests and gave Igor Muc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Igor Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valentin Folle hit a great ball. Lugo Manes scored 3-6 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Aloisio Munet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto Txindoki, 3-7. The Garrapatita Futbol supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leones FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Leones FC.
