Wladyslaw Siwek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Epifanio Lopes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Siro Abad notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek. Wladyslaw Siwek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Patriarca ®'s Djimmy Guimard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Kostrzewa in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Leon Merski came free, but Djimmy Guimard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roch Zbikowski in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Djimmy Guimard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wladyslaw Siwek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Zbikowski in the 21st minute of play forced El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tequila Sunrise were furious when Hieronim Kostrzewa was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute Epifanio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Rozanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Rozanski came free, but Djimmy Guimard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Patriarca ®'s Siro Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Olejasz during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norbert Olejasz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Siwek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Djimmy Guimard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Zbikowski in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roch Zbikowski was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, one of El Patriarca ®:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Patriarca ®. El Patriarca ®:s Djimmy Guimard showed great skill when he stopped Norbert Olejasz:s penalty. 58 minutes into the game, Epifanio Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Wladyslaw Siwek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Lastur in the 61st minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Lastur helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes El Patriarca ® got a freekick which was hit by Severino Lastur. 75 minutes into the match, El Patriarca ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Roch Zbikowski came free, but Djimmy Guimard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Zbikowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wladyslaw Siwek came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by El Patriarca ®'s Lisandro Ralondo. But to his dismay, Lisandro Ralondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Zbikowski got free with Djimmy Guimard in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 98 played minutes, Tequila Sunrise's Norbert Olejasz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tequila Sunrise reached it. El Patriarca ®'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
