Wladyslaw Siwek came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsnes's Jonathan Vie. But to his dismay, Jonathan Vie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Jonathan Vie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wladyslaw Siwek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Alnes in the 13th minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wladyslaw Siwek came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsnes's Roman Bide. But to his dismay, Roman Bide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Vie in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Kim Alnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Wladyslaw Siwek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wladyslaw Siwek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Vie in the 30th minute of play. Zachariasz Lech hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Petter Vartdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tequila Sunrise's Hieronim Kostrzewa pulled a muscle in his leg after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Daniel Dehli charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Dehli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tequila Sunrise's Jurand Maciejewski was substituted for Hieronim Kostrzewa. The supporters of Tequila Sunrise booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dehli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wladyslaw Siwek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Vie went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Kim Alnes notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek. Wladyslaw Siwek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Alnes to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tequila Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Dehli came free, but Wladyslaw Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tequila Sunrise's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Roman Bide scored to the left of an out of position Wladyslaw Siwek, making the score, 0-7. In the 57th minute, Jonathan Vie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wladyslaw Siwek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 68th minute, Tequila Sunrise's Jurand Maciejewski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jurand Maciejewski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tequila Sunrise protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jurand Maciejewski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tequila Sunrise! 77 minutes in the game, Roman Bide fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wladyslaw Siwek having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Jonathan Vie made a precise shot to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek. Tequila Sunrise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kim Alnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Kim Alnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wladyslaw Siwek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Daniel Dehli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tequila Sunrise booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dehli didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tequila Sunrise getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Leon Merski hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Roman Bide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wladyslaw Siwek. That made the score 0-12 in the 88 minute of play. Åsnes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
