In the 5th minute, Donat Collier made a precise shot to the right of Almiro Setúbal. Sporting Clube Patrício's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Artaldo Longoria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Patrício the free kick. After 11 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Artaldo Longoria. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Cristiano Garcia got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarbas Fontoura in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Sifi saved Nova Soccer from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Almiro Setúbal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romão Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artaldo Longoria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Quispe in the 37th minute of play. Karim Sifi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almiro Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artaldo Longoria, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artaldo Longoria in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Sandro Cortez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Nova Soccer's Piero Quispe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Almiro Setúbal but with some difficulty. Donat Collier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Almiro Setúbal made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piero Quispe made a kick off. In the 51st minute Artaldo Longoria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almiro Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nova Soccer fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Nova Soccer's Piero Quispe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karim Sifi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaldo Longoria in the 85th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Almiro Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Jarbas Fontoura got a free kick in the 86th minute.
