The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Dan Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes, Oakcroft Thrashers's Andreas Haglund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Claris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oakcroft Thrashers reached it. 17 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Adrian Sillén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Uchiha. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Alan Uchiha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Sillén came out of the goal and Alan Uchiha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Wassenius's late challenge caught a R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Wassenius helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dan Wassenius hit a great ball. Alan Uchiha took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Sillén. Adrian Sillén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Manuel Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Jernberg in the 30th minute of play. When Dan Wassenius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. The supporters of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Sillén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Su in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И got a corner. Oakcroft Thrashers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Madaleno ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emilio Madaleno made a great header on R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's corner, it was just that Oakcroft Thrashers's Adrian Sillén managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Emilio Madaleno made the kick off in the second half. Oakcroft Thrashers's Adrian Sillén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Madaleno in the 54th minute of play. Romeo Su sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Manuel Claris made a huge save. A collision led to R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alan Uchiha hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Jernberg came free, but Manuel Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Jernberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Claris firmly grabbed it by the left post. Romeo Su sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Oakcroft Thrashers may have spent more time on the ball, but R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
