Manuel Neira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sandro Placente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkan Cangur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Koralp Yıldırım hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Fulgencio Serrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Barlas Tengizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Placente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuncay Eldem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Neira in the 24th minute of the match.
