Spectators: 7604 (Terracing: 5704, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaspar Viator started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Gaspar Viator put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Uwe Ziege. Uwe Ziege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Viator in the 7th minute of the match. The INFIERNO KSK fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when INFIERNO KSK's Gaspar Viator looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Gaspar Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot. INFIERNO KSK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Viator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uwe Ziege breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uwe Ziege stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Viator's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. With a little luck, INFIERNO KSK's Joel Sazon got control of the ball when Ebbo Böse tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmar Assing got free with Joel Sazon in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 minutes, Gunther Schößler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rot-Weiss-Essen and the INFIERNO KSK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of INFIERNO KSK booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunther Schößler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Chepe struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Uwe Ziege didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INFIERNO KSK. Uwe Ziege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Viator in the 27th minute of play. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Viator in the 33rd minute of play. Joel Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkan Fostiropoulos in the 35th minute of play. Gaspar Viator took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uwe Ziege. Uwe Ziege dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Uwe Ziege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Viator went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Gaspar Viator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rot-Weiss-Essen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. INFIERNO KSK were winning 0-4.

When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Elmar Assing in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INFIERNO KSK's goalie prevented a goal. Gaspar Viator came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Uwe Ziege could save by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, INFIERNO KSK's Severiano Claus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uwe Ziege narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birk Tritz to maneuver through the defense. Uwe Ziege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Claus in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Birk Tritz. Uwe Ziege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Viator in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Ebbo Böse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erkan Fostiropoulos in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Sazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66thth minute of the game Gaspar Viator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Helmut Malinowski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Gaspar Viator came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the INFIERNO KSK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Viator couldn't finish the play. After having played for 73 minutes, Severiano Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INFIERNO KSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, INFIERNO KSK's Gaspar Viator made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uwe Ziege was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Erkan Fostiropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Viator hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Viator in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Ziege saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. After 91 played minutes INFIERNO KSK got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Duardo. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Björn Mokros got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Viator in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uwe Ziege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95thth minute of the game Gaspar Viator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. INFIERNO KSK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justo Chepe in the 97th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Eloy Maiorga heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the final whistle sounded INFIERNO KSK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rot-Weiss-Essen.
