Dinu Aursulesei kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Romeo Hizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Sörman in the 23rd minute of play. Gigi Drăgan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Ciprian was slow to take the kick. During this time Purcaresti CSS's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Ionuț Gane drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Karen FC's goalkeeper. After 40 minutes, Gigi Drăgan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purcaresti CSS and the Karen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karen FC's Adrian Biörk was substituted for Calle Wanner. After 43 minutes, Eugen Tiberiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purcaresti CSS and the Karen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Aursulesei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Purcaresti CSS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dorin Georgescu hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Purcaresti CSS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karen FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
