Bálint Hellinger had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Clodoveo Acuña's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. La Acade's Nestor Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Kállai in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Inge to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Ignác Selymes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Miklós Fehér came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Budapest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Fehér couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Róbert Kállai made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Socorro. La Acade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. FC Budapest's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
