Dick van der Stoel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vágner Sergipano went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dick van der Stoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Leal in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Fargo SC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Katarínus Reitsma hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Douglas Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belo Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick van der Stoel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Jouke Lever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's Casper Tinselboer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute, 毛风振 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Casper Tinselboer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Renato Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Virgilio Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvan Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Rafael Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belo Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fargo SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Rafael Passos got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Virgilio Mangas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Renato Dracena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paulo Renato Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Mangas in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Belo Academy defense, Billy Sluis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Renato Dracena. The Belo Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Renato Dracena should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Sergipano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jouke Lever came free, but Paulo Renato Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Sylvan Baggio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Renato Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 67th minute Sylvan Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fargo SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Luz hit a great ball. Paulo Renato Dracena came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Fargo SC's Sylvan Baggio. But to his dismay, Sylvan Baggio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Baggio in the 83rd minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Figueiredo. In the 87th minute Virgilio Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Virgilio Mangas made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Renato Dracena. Belo Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Paulo Renato Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jouke Lever in the 94th minute of the match.
