The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dušan Kofroň showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elder Tróia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Dušan Kofroň skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elder Tróia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dušan Kofroň 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Tomáš Šorm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Martin Burget hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Gaspar in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dušan Kofroň, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Zonta hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Bat Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Tomáš Šorm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vito Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomáš Šorm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Vito Simão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, Silas Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romando Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moneyball the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Romando Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Vito Simão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bat Man showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. Bat Man received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vito Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sherlock Holmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Tomáš Šorm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moneyball fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bat Man didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Simão came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Moneyball's Bat Man. But to his dismay, Bat Man quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moneyball eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
