Dušan Kofroň tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Marcos Troncoso lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Dušan Kofroň. A collision led to Moneyball getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Freddy Krueger hit a great ball. Dušan Kofroň showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolado Abendano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 15 played minutes Octavia got a freekick which was hit by Zosimo Abancens. In the 16th minute, Bat Man hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Yebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bat Man in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Katia Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes of play, Moneyball's Tomáš Šorm made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Yebra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Flachmeyer to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Yebra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Šorm in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jago Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Tomáš Šorm scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantino Yebra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Octavia's Katia Abaurre got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Moneyball getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Martin Burget hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

51 minutes into the game, Katia Abaurre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Octavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moneyball the free kick. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Katia Abaurre hit a great ball. Constantino Yebra was a little too slow when Bat Man got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Constantino Yebra was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Tomáš Šorm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomáš Šorm really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 58th match minute, Moneyball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Šorm to maneuver through the defense. If Matěj Randa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saúl Mondaca to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Yebra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomáš Šorm in the 64th minute. Dušan Kofroň showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zosimo Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Constantino Yebra came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Moneyball's Bat Man. But to his dismay, Bat Man quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Evis Abarca put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Moneyball's Matěj Randa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Constantino Yebra. 82 minutes into the match, Matěj Randa sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Constantino Yebra threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Matěj Randa this time. Octavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Bat Man scored to the left of an out of position Constantino Yebra, making the score, 2-8. Ambrosio Abellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dušan Kofroň tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moneyball eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
