After a defensive mix-up in FCPorto's zone, Anton Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dewa Cinta came out of the goal and Anton Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dewa Cinta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Rosen in the 9th minute. Bernard Zawada hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Honorato Salgueiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Dewa Cinta managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when A State Of Trance's Anton Rosen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FCPorto's Dewa Cinta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FCPorto from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FCPorto getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Benedito Sales hit a great ball. With a little luck, FCPorto's Dewa Cinta got control of the ball when Anton Rosen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teobald Walicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewa Cinta having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Anton Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewa Cinta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A State Of Trance's Anton Rosen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Rosen in the 39th minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dewa Cinta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dewa Cinta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Urban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Rosen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Anton Rosen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the A State Of Trance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Rosen couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the game, Filipe Padilha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCPorto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A State Of Trance the free kick. In the 56th minute, Filipe Padilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Rosen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dewa Cinta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Dewa Cinta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Rosen in the 63rd minute of play. If Anton Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, FCPorto's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Rosen came free, but Dewa Cinta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, FCPorto's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Urban came free, but Dewa Cinta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A State Of Trance's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafal Cetnar in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Costa to maneuver through the defense. Rafal Cetnar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, A State Of Trance's Rafal Cetnar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 81st minute Anton Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewa Cinta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, FCPorto's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Rosen came free, but Dewa Cinta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Rosen in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dewa Cinta saved FCPorto from getting behind. If Anton Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Rosen in the 87th minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anton Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, A State Of Trance's Teobald Walicki got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
