The referee ignored Romando Futebol Clube's protests and gave Guga Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Guga Pinho hit a great ball. Clemente Hermes came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Eibar 09-12-18's Evaristo Loi. But to his dismay, Evaristo Loi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Clemente Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Loi in the 36th minute. When Marcelo Ignado fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eibar 09-12-18's protests and gave Marcelo Ignado a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Ignado hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Francisco Zonta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbano Tono. Eibar 09-12-18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ramiro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Tono having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Ferraz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Cai went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hernan Macias's late challenge caught a Romando Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Macias helped the player get up and apologised. Hernan Macias hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Eibar 09-12-18's Esteban Marz was substituted for Hernan Macias. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Zonta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Urbano Tono quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Urbano Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Christian Cai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eibar 09-12-18 and the Romando Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Christian Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Tono came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Romando Futebol Clube's Christiano Ferraz. But to his dismay, Christiano Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the Romando Futebol Clube defense, Christian Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Hermes. The Romando Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Hermes should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Eibar 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dionisio Llanos hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eibar 09-12-18's goalkeeper Urbano Tono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes Eibar 09-12-18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francisco Zonta who took care of the corner kick.
