Manuel Văcaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfred Oevermans. De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute Adriaan Bulder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Turceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, De Kasteelheren's Marnix van Alst seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marnix van Alst the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of De Kasteelheren protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marnix van Alst had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Marnix van Alst got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Edgar Josan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Carlo Bosstraeten hit a great ball. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Gavril Turceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save THE CRYSTAL SHIP from getting a goal against them. Mickael Rutgers scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavril Turceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Martin Tatomir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Nathan Wermans came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the De Kasteelheren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan Wermans couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's Nathan Wermans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavril Turceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mickael Rutgers took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Turceanu. Gavril Turceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Bosstraeten came free, but Gavril Turceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mickael Rutgers hit a great ball. Gavril Turceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Wermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Dacian Dănănae got a free kick in the 79th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Nathan Wermans notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Gavril Turceanu. Gavril Turceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Teun Otten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Kasteelheren were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of THE CRYSTAL SHIP for a fine match.
