Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Onsala Ass Kickers from getting a goal against them. Thomas Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 18th minute of play. If Bengt-Arne Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Hägglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 21st minute. Cui Feng Chong came free in the 29th minute and tried to tip the ball over Thomas Hägglund, but to the joy of Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 31st minute of the game Leon Acevedo made a throw-in which Björn Meijer played forward. Thomas Hägglund made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bengt-Arne Åberg sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Marco Ruben put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Hägglund. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Thomas Hägglund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 41 minutes Onsala Ass Kickers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cui Feng Chong who took care of the corner kick. Leon Acevedo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jonas Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Bengt-Arne Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Onsala Ass Kickers's Åke Biörkquist got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Åke Biörkquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Björnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, César Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but César Bustamante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Bustamante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Hägglund having to make a save. In the 94thth minute of the game César Bustamante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If César Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Bustamante in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. had played much better football throughout.
