Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Feliciano Jaunti started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Andréas Linqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andréas Linqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Andréas Linqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DIF LEEDS BK's Oscar Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 9 minutes, Inge Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Rosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Aldo Iruinea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIF LEEDS BK the free kick. Pastor Bartoli had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Inge Rosen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Andréas Linqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pastor Bartoli. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andréas Linqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Albert Hernström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Andréas Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pastor Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Independiente's Mariano Gorosti got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Jaunti got free with Oscar Hedman in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Estavan who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute Andréas Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Feliciano Jaunti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Hedman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 47th minute of the match Axel Lundström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Bartoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

DIF LEEDS BK's Oscar Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Jaunti in the 60th minute of play. Oscar Hedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as DIF LEEDS BK's Holger Lidström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pastor Bartoli. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Feliciano Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Hedman. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Hedman should have stopped the shot. Oscar Hedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Estavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Lidström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Bartoli having to interfere. Oscar Hedman came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Jacinto Estavan. But to his dismay, Jacinto Estavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Oscar Hedman came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Feliciano Jaunti. But to his dismay, Feliciano Jaunti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Pastor Bartoli made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Niclas Österberg sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Estavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Inge Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Iruinea in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Independiente fully deserved thier win.
