Cirilo Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Indalecio in the 9th minute of play. Pablo Mouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Perutxo having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Barbosa came free, but Cirilo Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Perutxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Astrada in the 23rd minute. Cirilo Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Barbosa in the 24th minute of play. Cirilo Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Anastasio Petrigai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilar FC's Cirilo Micael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Petrigai in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Micael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 minutes, Anastasio Petrigai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the the xeneise dream team and the Pilar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anastasio Petrigai kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Samuel Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Paolo Lalla hit a great ball. Cirilo Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Barbosa in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the xeneise dream team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anastasio Petrigai to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Pilar FC's Cirilo Micael got control of the ball when Anastasio Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Lalla hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pilar FC defense, Isaac Procopio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Micael. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Petrigai in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Micael saved Pilar FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Cirilo Micael successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. the xeneise dream team's Cayetano Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Astrada in the 69th minute of play. Cayetano Perutxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Mouche went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Anastasio Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cirilo Micael made a huge save. Pilar FC's Cirilo Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Angel Harriet. Cirilo Micael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celestino Barbosa in the 83rd minute. Celestino Barbosa had several of the Pilar FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Cirilo Micael as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 90th minute Severino Astrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. the xeneise dream team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
