Salud y República's Nisio Riba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Juan Carlos Suciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Laskowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Laskowski in the 27th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Carlos Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wieslaw Wawak, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Salud y República were victorious despite being under pressure from Fc Pawonków for much of the match.
