Maksymilian Wolniewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Kania Gostyń's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Suprs Academia's goalie and right to Radowit Wejta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Suprs Academia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Suprs Academia defense, Lucjan Waselewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Prod'Homme. The Suprs Academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Prod'Homme should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Domingos Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kania Gostyń's Maksymilian Wolniewicz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Miguel Prod'Homme but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Waselewicz in the 20th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Miguel Prod'Homme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when José Neves came free, but Edmund Chrobak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Chrobak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Cavaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Prod'Homme came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Kania Gostyń's Lucjan Waselewicz. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suprs Academia reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
In the 53rd minute Lucjan Waselewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Prod'Homme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Waselewicz in the 54th minute of the match. Lucjan Waselewicz took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Prod'Homme. Miguel Prod'Homme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Kania Gostyń's Edmund Chrobak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Kania Gostyń from getting a goal against them. Suprs Academia made a substitution. Pascoal Paredes replaced José Salah. Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos was substituted for Tobias Taveira. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Maksymilian Wolniewicz got a free kick in the 67th minute. Edmund Chrobak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Plácido Bulhosa in the 69th minute. Lucjan Waselewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Suprs Academia's Miguel Prod'Homme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Waselewicz in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Suprs Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Plácido Bulhosa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Joaquim Cavaco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suprs Academia's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Cavaco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Chrobak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Paredes in the 95th minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Edmund Chrobak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kania Gostyń support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
