Asmund Sjøberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Jonasson in the 3rd minute of the match. Asmund Sjøberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes The Nerd Herd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roy Johnsson who took care of the corner kick. Henry Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmund Sjøberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brage Vetrhus in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Fågel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Henry Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmund Sjøberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asmund Sjøberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isak Stålman went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Isak Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Bo Abbas in the 40th minute of play forced The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Asmund Sjøberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's Brage Vetrhus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Fågel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Isak Stålman took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Asmund Sjøberg to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brage Vetrhus in the 61st minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. Cem Adrian replaced Kenny Pavey. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polly Magoo Juniors! The referee gave The Nerd Herd a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bård Kjærvik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel. 2-3. Asmund Sjøberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Tunberg's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Geir-Inge Torstensen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Jonasson came free, but Asmund Sjøberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmund Sjøberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Bo Abbas in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Tunberg got free with Asmund Sjøberg in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the game, Henry Jonasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Asmund Sjøberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Brage Vetrhus came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goalkeeper Asmund Sjøberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg. When the final whistle sounded Polly Magoo Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Nerd Herd.
