In the 5th minute Hélder Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanio Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A A Arizona's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilson Hoffmann in the 7th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Hélder Pinho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Abajas in the 12th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Edson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lesardo Abello hit a great ball. A A Arizona's Nilson Hoffmann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tanio Abeita but with some difficulty. 25 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Arismendi came free, but Edson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Leobardo Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edson de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Valério Paranaense hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Paiva came free, but Tanio Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldinho Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Mandarina Mecánica's Tanio Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Paranaense in the 72nd minute of play. A A Arizona's Edson de Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. Tanio Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Cruz in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Favila Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Favila Abalos suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 86 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Pinho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Pablo Magallanes got free with Edson de Souza in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Mandarina Mecánica's Tanio Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Paiva in the 94th minute of play. A A Arizona's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilson Hoffmann in the 95th minute. La Mandarina Mecánica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
