A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Lars Hedlund hit a great ball. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Birger Wassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Svartvallstjärnens IF from getting a goal against them. GREEN LIONS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filippos Koutsokefalakis in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Demis Laggizos came free, but Birger Wassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hedlund in the 13th minute of play. If Roland Järverup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demis Laggizos got free with Birger Wassenius in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joel Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Pantelidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaggelis Pantelidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Järverup went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Lund in the 31st minute of play. Hampus Beneth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Nyqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Pantelidis having to interfere. GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Lund in the 38th minute of play. Vaggelis Pantelidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Järverup, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GREEN LIONS's zone, Ola Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Pantelidis came out of the goal and Ola Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEN LIONS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Lund was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Joel Nyqvist managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The GREEN LIONS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Svartvallstjärnens IF were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demis Laggizos to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEN LIONS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Lund was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Roland Järverup was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vaggelis Pantelidis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joel Nyqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Nyqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Pantelidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filippos Kopelis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Robin Mellbad replaced Tommy Janssen. Birger Wassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demis Laggizos in the 67th minute of play. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Viktor Isaksson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Nyqvist came free, but Vaggelis Pantelidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaggelis Pantelidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Nyqvist in the 75th minute of the match. Birger Wassenius came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by GREEN LIONS's Filippos Kopelis. But to his dismay, Filippos Kopelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Birger Wassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippos Koutsokefalakis in the 87th minute of play. The Svartvallstjärnens IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Svartvallstjärnens IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
