The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Rubinho Munhoz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Virgil Olariu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Cai in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12thth minute of the game Mike Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Munique's Leopoldo Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopoldo Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter de Munique's Antônio Carlos Meira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Virgil Olariu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Rubinho Munhoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Olariu was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Petru Văidianu hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mike Cai to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Inter de Munique:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paralia Athens:s goal. When the match had been going on for 52 minutes, Paralia Athens's Mike Cai got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leopoldo Trigo. 59 minutes into the match, Ke Zhou Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Trigo. Inter de Munique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ke Zhou Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Inter de Munique's Leopoldo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Cai in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Antônio Carlos Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Olariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paralia Athens's Ionuț Brânzeu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emílio do Valle, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Costel Neagoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgil Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Mike Cai made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Trigo. Inter de Munique's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Leopoldo Trigo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mike Cai sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paralia Athens had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
