The audience was convinced that Alex Marcelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Dimo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. A collision led to La Panchera getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Freddy Froila hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Marcelli in the 14th minute of play forced La Panchera's goalkeeper Santo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lunatics of Arianrhod were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after La Panchera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amerigo Melucci took the corner. Santo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Corvi in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Alex Marcelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Albertini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trendafil Katúrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Ettore Albertini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ettore Albertini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trendafil Katúrov in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Bianco Di Paola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as La Panchera's Trendafil Katúrov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ettore Albertini. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Lunatics of Arianrhod's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amerigo Melucci in the 35th minute. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amerigo Melucci was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santo Dimo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Panchera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amerigo Melucci was slow to take the kick. During this time Lunatics of Arianrhod's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amerigo Melucci to fire away a dangerous shot which Santo Dimo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39th minute Alex Marcelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ettore Albertini got control of the ball when Javier Pastore tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, La Panchera's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Marcelli came free, but Santo Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Alex Marcelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
In the 51st minute Saverio Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Albertini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Trendafil Katúrov came free, but Ettore Albertini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Ettore Albertini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ettore Albertini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Pastore in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes La Panchera got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Selmo. A hard shot 73 in the game by Alex Marcelli from a close distance when the talented Santo Dimo managed to make a qualified save. La Panchera's players were relieved. 74 minutes into the game, Federico Puglielli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunatics of Arianrhod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Panchera the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Federico Puglielli got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a little luck, La Panchera's Santo Dimo got control of the ball when Alex Marcelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Panchera's zone, Ettore Corvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Dimo came out of the goal and Ettore Corvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ettore Albertini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Pastore in the 81st minute of the match. Ettore Albertini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Alex Marcelli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of La Panchera's Santo Dimo. Santo Dimo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, La Panchera's Melquiades Goiz got a free kick in the 90th minute. Alex Marcelli in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santo Dimo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Pastore in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Albertini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ettore Corvi's late challenge caught a La Panchera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Corvi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Corvi to maneuver through the defense. The La Panchera supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lunatics of Arianrhod's performance. The match ended with a win for Lunatics of Arianrhod.
