Lautaro Estebanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Lozano in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiliam Lozano was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Estebanez was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Zernin Pellicer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zernin Pellicer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 76th minute of the game Isidro Piciña made a throw-in which Frisco Arroyo played forward. Isidro Piciña made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Francisco Villagrán immediately put the ball in play. In the 78th minute, Wiliam Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zernin Pellicer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Estebanez having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zernin Pellicer got free with Lautaro Estebanez in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zernin Pellicer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Lautaro Estebanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo de San Blás. Shepherd Miramontes hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Zernin Pellicer might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Estebanez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zernin Pellicer ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Sabaneta FC's Lautaro Estebanez got control of the ball when Zernin Pellicer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Flamengo de San Blás supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flamengo de San Blás would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
