With a little luck, Käka Puck BK's Victor Sundström got control of the ball when Wieslaw Maziarski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wieslaw Maziarski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Sundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match KS LEW Chorzów got a corner. Käka Puck BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wieslaw Maziarski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mikolaj Budzynski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Törnblom in the 28th minute of the match. Brian Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Maziarski got free with Victor Sundström in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Luís Koffidis struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Wit Kasperowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Käka Puck BK. Wit Kasperowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Koffidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 44th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Cuber to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Törnblom made a kick off. After 72 minutes KS LEW Chorzów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kang Xuan who took care of the corner kick. The Käka Puck BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Sundström should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Ulryk Grocholski got a free kick in the 90th minute.
