GUAYACO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walme Saucedo in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Walme Saucedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alf Enström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when Lirarnas Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arias Burgo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. GUAYACO's zone, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arias Burgo came out of the goal and Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessio Cinalli kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With 23 minutes on the clock, Alessio Cinalli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 23rd minute, one of Lirarnas Lag:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lirarnas Lag. Alf Enström had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Mendoza Joseph's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 27th minute Luís Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, C.A. GUAYACO's Luís Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Enström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arias Burgo. C.A. GUAYACO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alf Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Ferreira in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Villiam Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille came free, but Arias Burgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Sérgio Silveira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström. Alf Enström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the game, C.A. GUAYACO's Sérgio Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Enström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After the first half C.A. GUAYACO were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After 53 minutes of play, Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arias Burgo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. When Örjan Håning fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lirarnas Lag's protests and gave Örjan Håning a yellow card for diving instead. Örjan Håning kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mendoza Joseph in the 85th minute of play. Walme Saucedo made a great header on C.A. GUAYACO's corner, it was just that Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Håning in the 88th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Arias Burgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Arias Burgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. The Lirarnas Lag support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
