Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5776, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew Miggiani started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Robert Seychell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo De Vito during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Arturo De Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoine Bugelli kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo De Vito in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seraċini Għawdxin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armin Scotti was slow to take the kick. During this time Carloforte f.c.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Carloforte f.c.'s Armin Scotti to fire away a dangerous shot which Clayton Gerada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Iacovella in the 21st minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Clayton Gerada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Robert Seychell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Savoia. Carloforte f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Seychell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 27th minute, Robert Seychell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robert Seychell came free, but Beppe Savoia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Andrew Miggiani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beppe Savoia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo De Vito in the 35th minute of play. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo De Vito in the 35th minute of the match. With his leg Beppe Savoia managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Seraċini Għawdxin's Andrew Miggiani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robert Seychell struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Beppe Savoia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. After 44 minutes, Robert Seychell made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Trigona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Beppe Savoia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

A hard shot by Andrea Capasso from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Clayton Gerada's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Miggiani in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beppe Savoia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Iacovella in the 59th minute of the match. Antoine Bugelli kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Iacovella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clayton Gerada. Clayton Gerada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. In the 70thth minute of the game Andrew Miggiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 minutes, Andrea Capasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Seraċini Għawdxin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Capasso to maneuver through the defense. Beppe Savoia came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Robert Seychell. But to his dismay, Robert Seychell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When Seraċini Għawdxin's Andrew Miggiani in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carloforte f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Alex Federici. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's Andrew Miggiani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beppe Savoia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arturo De Vito was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo De Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Richard Pavia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Seraċini Għawdxin's Richard Pavia to fire away a dangerous shot which Beppe Savoia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Trigona in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Seraċini Għawdxin fully deserved thier win.
