Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Rosario in the 19th minute of play. In the 26th minute Osmar Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Gerada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, James Buttigieg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seraċini Għawdxin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROSÁRIO SPORT the free kick. James Buttigieg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Yu Bin Yi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clayton Gerada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Rosario in the 38th minute of play. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Bin Yi in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Miggiani was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 64 minutes, Osmar Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Rosario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yu Bin Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Clayton Gerada made a huge save. Clayton Gerada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Miggiani in the 71st minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper João Carlos Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seraċini Għawdxin's Richard Pavia got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution. Dé Bastos replaced Reginaldo dos Santos. In the 78th minute, Waldir Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Robert Seychell came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Seraċini Għawdxin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Seychell couldn't finish the play. Andrew Miggiani took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Carlos Fernandes. João Carlos Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 88 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Dé Bastos. Clayton Gerada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Bin Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Xavier in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Ernani Xavier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clayton Gerada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Seraċini Għawdxin were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ROSÁRIO SPORT to leave the ground with a draw.
