Patryk Lisewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Edvin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gustavo Gol put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hugon Raszkiewicz. After a defensive mix-up in Opus Dei's zone, Cristiano Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Opus Dei's supporters rose to their feet, but Patryk Lisewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin van der Saar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, İlyas Salat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tribos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes Gustavo Gol scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Hugon Raszkiewicz who was too lazy, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Tribos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Opus Dei for a fine match.
