They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chico Secco to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's corner Joel Salgado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Timoteo Lando quite easily take care of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, FC Ferrauda's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Moraes came free, but Timoteo Lando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Malvin during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes FC Ferrauda got a freekick which was hit by Severino Malvin. Jânio Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Severino Malvin sent off a good shot on target. The FC Ferrauda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Ferrauda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
