After taking down the ball on ForestFire's corner Eddy Amos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogdan Lobonț quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th match minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Voicescu to maneuver through the defense. Lane Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Bogdan Lobonț made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Potopea came free, but Reed Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lane Martinez went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Calistrat Potopea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lane Martinez. After 30th play minutes Valeriu Bucurescu shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Reed Molina and just under the crossbar into goal. Lane Martinez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bogdan Lobonț came out and tried to block the shot, but Lane Martinez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Duncan Nichols scored to the left of an out of position Bogdan Lobonț, making the score, 3-1. With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț got control of the ball when Duncan Nichols tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lane Martinez in the 42nd minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, ForestFire's Edgardo Courtney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Lobonț made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeffrey Yoshioka to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Jeffrey Yoshioka came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 66th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Potopea came free, but Reed Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Lane Martinez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Lobonț. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lane Martinez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 80th minute of the match ForestFire got a corner. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eddy Amos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Jeffrey Yoshioka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Agachi came free, but Reed Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ForestFire's Jeffrey Yoshioka got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogdan Lobonț came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ForestFire's Lane Martinez. But to his dismay, Lane Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Leontin Teodoreanu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ForestFire had played much better football throughout.
