Leonel Karlo's late challenge caught a Inter de Chillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Karlo helped the player get up and apologised. Steve Vaid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Angel Comizzo made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Leonel Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Ignacio Rocha was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
