The referee ignored Talcampeón FC's protests and gave José Francisco Maffey a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, one of Talcampeón FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 18 minutes into the game, SILMONT's Fabian Caplain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Villa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Damario Ferrada kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emílio Lendaa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto Villa was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yeray Lisperguer in the 40th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Di Xing Ying to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
