Varennes's Brice Leach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Eckegren in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, BK Värdsholmen's Bo-Erik Grelsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Gale Laliberté cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Joel Tolsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gale Laliberté struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Joel Tolsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varennes. BK Värdsholmen:s Joel Tolsson showed great skill when he stopped Ellsworth Lindsay:s penalty. 1-3 came in the 45th minute when Ellsworth Lindsay all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Joel Tolsson.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Eklund made a kick off. Gale Laliberté's late challenge caught a BK Värdsholmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gale Laliberté helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BK Värdsholmen booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gale Laliberté didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peder Gernberg in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brice Leach saved Varennes from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Eckegren in the 56th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Häger hit a great ball. Bedirhan Türk hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loic Deal in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Håkan Eklund put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Brice Leach. BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Coffman in the 86th minute of play. Brice Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson got control of the ball when Ellsworth Lindsay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
