In the 3rd match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Passos to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, Los Del Kllejon FC's Melquiades Haimar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otávio Massa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Del Kllejon FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattijs Verhaghen in the 12th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Christan Pulisic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Abel Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Veloso in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Amador Laffitte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Laffitte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Pena in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar Walls to maneuver through the defense. Amador Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Senna in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some careless play in the Los Del Kllejon FC defense, Júnior Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Laffitte. The Los Del Kllejon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Laffitte should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Júnior Veloso got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 68 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Bittencourt. Melquiades Haimar's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melquiades Haimar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Danone CC. Szczepan Mosiniak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amador Laffitte. 2-0. A collision led to Los Del Kllejon FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Valentin Isaio hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Szczepan Mosiniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Danone CC's Otávio Massa got control of the ball when Franco Colapinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Los Del Kllejon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pena came free, but Amador Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Pena in the 96th minute of play forced Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Amador Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes, Lamar Walls mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danone CC and the Los Del Kllejon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
