After 19 minutes, Adam Gheorghiță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.BARLAD and the KFC Vliegplein players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's Adam Gheorghiță got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vliegplein's zone, Calistrat Bucuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Jansens came out of the goal and Calistrat Bucuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthy Algoedt lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vliegplein's zone, Dumitru Surdu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Jansens came out of the goal and Dumitru Surdu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Ni Gang Yi from a close distance when the talented Mark Jansens managed to make a qualified save. KFC Vliegplein's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ni Gang Yi made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ni Gang Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Jansens was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. After having played for 55 minutes, Matthew Lijsens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Vliegplein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthew Lijsens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wojtek Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylven Vereeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KFC Vliegplein's goalie and right to Braulio Castel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KFC Vliegplein's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 92 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Ni Gang Yi came free, but Mark Jansens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ni Gang Yi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mark Jansens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C.BARLAD had played much better football throughout.
