Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5776, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrado Faron started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's Arlo Albiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléberson Laguna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Neiva in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlo Albiz got free with Kléberson Laguna in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, JFSP's Kléberson Laguna got control of the ball when Arlo Albiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeferson Aguiar's late challenge caught a Caaguazu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeferson Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Neiva came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vambola Probach hit a great ball. With his leg Kléberson Laguna managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Caaguazu's Arlo Albiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vincente Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo de Souza in the 37th minute of the match. Arlo Albiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kléberson Laguna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincente Monzon came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Edinson Gentenaar. But to his dismay, Edinson Gentenaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caaguazu made a substitution. Beltza Rubin replaced Pankracy Kasiewski. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Arlo Albiz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo de Souza came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vincente Monzon could save by the left post. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Albiz in the 61st minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Kléberson Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Caaguazu from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Cando during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nando Cando hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Nando Cando. In the 72ndth minute of the game Conrado Faron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JFSP's Kléberson Laguna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlo Albiz in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléberson Laguna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincente Monzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vambola Probach. 85 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo de Souza. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JFSP had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
