Despite this Vincente Monzon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 13 played minutes 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Başer. 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's Akşemseddin Arslangiray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Faron in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Milosz Budzyn could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Vincente Monzon however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, Caaguazu's Conrado Faron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akşemseddin Arslangiray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon defense, Conrado Faron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akşemseddin Arslangiray. The 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akşemseddin Arslangiray should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Caaguazu made a substitution. Beltza Rubin replaced Pankracy Kasiewski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Faron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 98th minute Milosz Budzyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Caaguazu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon.
