Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvin Åkesson started the match with the kick off. If Edgar Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes of play, Robíño Football Club's Alvin Åkesson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolf Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Robíño Football Club booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Švácha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jack Kvick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 27th minute. Rolf Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by General Velásquez's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Ove Jönsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Robíño Football Club's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Joar Melin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Emanuel Dahlgren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, General Velásquez's Jack Kvick threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guntademaro Goyenechea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Pilgren in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guntademaro Goyenechea made the kick off in the second half. Alvin Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Holmgren having to interfere. Jack Kvick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Alvin Åkesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella was substituted for Apolo Irigoyen. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Robíño Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Simonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Teofan Bozadzhiyski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jack Kvick. Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute, Joar Melin made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Holmgren. General Velásquez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 88 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Teofan Bozadzhiyski. After 90 minutes, Edgar Stenman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robíño Football Club and the General Velásquez players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Robíño Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guntademaro Goyenechea came free, but Jack Kvick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Vicente Squella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Kvick having to interfere. Jorge Vicente Squella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Kvick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Robíño Football Club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over General Velásquez's much stronger midfield.
