The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kent Qvalfeldt went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 16th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Wennerberg. Kattvik kings were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after General Velásquez's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kent Qvalfeldt took the corner. Kattvik kings's Kent Qvalfeldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolf Holmgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kristoffer Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Kattvik kings getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kjell Wennerberg hit a great ball. Osvald Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Kristoffer Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Viktor Alebeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kattvik kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Alebeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Apolo Irigoyen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristoffer Nordin. Kattvik kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Irigoyen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viktor Alebeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kjell Wennerberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 54th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
