Astor Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Irigoyen came free, but Astor Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute General Velásquez were awarded a corner. Teofan Bozadzhiyski went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gustav Tidéksson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 27 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Cardoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Quintin in the 27th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Holmgren came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Marno F.C.'s Isaac Quintin. But to his dismay, Isaac Quintin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rolf Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Mónos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Marno F.C.'s Astor Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Tidéksson in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Quintin in the 42nd minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guntademaro Goyenechea had several of the Marno F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Astor Aragones as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Irigoyen during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Quintin in the 52nd minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofan Bozadzhiyski didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Benicio Mónos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rolf Holmgren made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, Marno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Beila to maneuver through the defense. General Velásquez made a substitution. Jorge Vicente Squella replaced Apolo Irigoyen. A collision led to Marno F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Timoteo Beila hit a great ball. If Jorge Vicente Squella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Justo Mónos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marno F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave General Velásquez the free kick. Justo Mónos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Astor Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Teofan Bozadzhiyski hit a great ball. Marno F.C.'s Roque Mónos was substituted for Isaac Quintin. In the 73rd minute, Teofan Bozadzhiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Mónos in the 74th minute of play. Jorge Vicente Squella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guntademaro Goyenechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Astor Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Guntademaro Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Mónos might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Holmgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Mónos ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Tidéksson in the 86th minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Astor Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marno F.C.'s zone, Gustav Tidéksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Aragones came out of the goal and Gustav Tidéksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Aragones came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella. But to his dismay, Jorge Vicente Squella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. General Velásquez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
