Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wlodzimierz Lubanski started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bobby Bear during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Queens of Lublin booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Bear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético de Newell's Matthieu Abelard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético de Newell from getting a goal against them. Zula Nieuzyla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olly Nethercot in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Keith Knightley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters rose to their feet, but Keith Knightley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zula Nieuzyla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Juliusz Kisiel fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Keith Knightley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zula Nieuzyla having to make a save. Victoriano Oinaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matthieu Abelard came out and tried to block the shot, but Victoriano Oinaz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. Victoriano Oinaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Matthieu Abelard made a huge save. After 44 minutes, Ken Roberts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético de Newell and the Queens of Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Queens of Lublin fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Queens of Lublin's Wlodzimierz Lubanski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

After 54 played minutes Club Atlético de Newell got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Barfield. In the 59th minute, Keith Knightley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miroslaw Car charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miroslaw Car the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Keith Knightley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zula Nieuzyla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Keith Knightley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Queens of Lublin's Victoriano Oinaz in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Atlético de Newell's Matthieu Abelard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Lubanski in the 68th minute of play. Matthieu Abelard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Mindykowski in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olly Nethercot in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zula Nieuzyla saved Queens of Lublin from getting behind. Matthieu Abelard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Ewertowski in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Ewertowski came free, but Matthieu Abelard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Victoriano Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthieu Abelard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
