After 7 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Zheko Kraychev. After 8 played minutes La vecchia signora got a freekick which was hit by Graham Boss. La vecchia signora's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ramos in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, La vecchia signora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wang Hui Yi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez got control of the ball when Eldad Te Vrede tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, CJ Kane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Gutierrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 20th minute, Nelsinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Kane in the 22nd minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Totín De Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alejandro Muñoz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Alejandro Muñoz a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the match, Han Solo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez. Sergio Gutierrez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Diómedes Rodriguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. José Ramos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Diómedes Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Diómedes Rodriguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Ravelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Gutierrez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eldad Te Vrede sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eldad Te Vrede. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diómedes Rodriguez to make the kick off. CJ Kane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gutierrez having to interfere. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Lambis Kostopoulos was substituted for Guillermo Escalona. Sergio Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Kane in the 59th minute of the match. Jon Birkfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Han Solo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Han Solo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 76th minute Eldad Te Vrede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Eldad Te Vrede came free, but Sergio Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Han Solo came free, but Sergio Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La vecchia signora's zone, Diómedes Rodriguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal and Diómedes Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Solo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Totín De Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sergio Gutierrez came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by La vecchia signora's Eldad Te Vrede. But to his dismay, Eldad Te Vrede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
