Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bert Pöggeler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benicio Izquierdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes, Fritz Busk made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Sebastián Izquierdo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bert Pöggeler. Bert Pöggeler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Xaven Cachorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martín Izquierdo having to make a save. Benjamin Izquierdo's late challenge caught a Mete y Raspa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Izquierdo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Benjamin Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fritz Busk to make the kick off. Xaven Cachorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Martín Izquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes Martin Palermo F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xaven Cachorro who took care of the corner kick. In the 61st minute of the match, Tristan Neyda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martín Izquierdo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tristan Neyda might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martín Izquierdo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tristan Neyda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69thth minute of the game Benicio Izquierdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mete y Raspa FC's Bert Pöggeler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Mete y Raspa FC booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Martin Palermo F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sebastián Izquierdo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Tristan Neyda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Christian Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tristan Neyda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
