The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Blue in the 3rd minute of play. Cachiyuyo EAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Joachim in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eleuterio Joachim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Rius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute David Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Arnulfo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Blue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Maximino Mateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Town SC the free kick. If Saturnino Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, David Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters rose to their feet, but David Llope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Gimenez in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Roberto Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Llope took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Rius. Marcelo Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Arnulfo Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Gimenez in the 36th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Mateo. Marcelo Rius made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Saturnino Porfirio sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Llope in the 44th minute of the match. Cachiyuyo EAS's Mario Checa landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. 45 minutes into the game, Radamel Blue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Town SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachiyuyo EAS the free kick. Cachiyuyo EAS made a substitution. Sergio Derwin replaced Mario Checa. After 47 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Radamel Blue. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Gimenez to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Buck Blue came free, but Arnulfo Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Llope in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Roberto Blue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Nataniel came out of the goal and Roberto Blue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo EAS from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Saturnino Porfirio fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Saturnino Porfirio a yellow card for diving instead. Arnulfo Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Blue in the 91st minute of play. Jeremias Pallar kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the West Town SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachiyuyo EAS.
