The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André-Pierre Gignac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juninho Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Lucjan Popowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Popowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Anderson Ortiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Jaime Villalaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14thth minute of the game Anderson Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuri Mujica in the 15th minute of play. Juninho Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André-Pierre Gignac went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leonidas Barrera made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Paulinho Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Popowicz. 25 minutes into the match, Zuri Mujica notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zuri Mujica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Leonidas Barrera made a huge save. Fuat Karabulut kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zuri Mujica. The crowd rose to their feet as LUIZ PANATO's Lucjan Popowicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonidas Barrera. That made the score 4-1 after 36 minutes of play. In the 39th minute André-Pierre Gignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucjan Popowicz 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. After a rather tough play, LUIZ PANATO's Lucjan Popowicz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Zuri Mujica put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leonidas Barrera.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zuri Mujica to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Urane to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Ortiz in the 68th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonidas Barrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 彭朋珂, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, LUIZ PANATO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Buenaventura FC defense, Lucjan Popowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonidas Barrera. The Buenaventura FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonidas Barrera should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Ensar Irgatbaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Anderson Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Leonidas Barrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anderson Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LUIZ PANATO's Anderson Ortiz got a free kick in the 96th minute.
