In the 6th minute Munir Abdallah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Ubinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Epifanio Clementi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oleg Ubinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vlado Manchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Munir Abdallah came free, but Oleg Ubinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Clementi in the 14th minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Oleg Ubinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CSKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Munir Abdallah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Varban Netzov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jussef Ben Mami was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.
