After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Zeca de Lara got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Yancho Dzhongarski came free, but Paulão Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeca de Laras short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Oleg Ubinov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goalkeeper Oleg Ubinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeca de Lara. Benedito de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Ubinov having to interfere. Anatoli Nankov made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Adilson Amorim. Dr Lecter SC's Benedito de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Bem Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yancho Dzhongarski charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yancho Dzhongarski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Yancho Dzhongarski hit a great ball. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Velimir Kocharkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Velimir Kocharkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fabrício De León hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mincho Búlgarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mincho Búlgarov kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Zeca de Lara hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Paulão Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlado Manchev in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Benedito de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes in the game, Vlado Manchev fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paulão Esteves having to interfere. Anatoli Nankov hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlado Manchev in the 70th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Paulão Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Benedito de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Oleg Ubinov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedito de Sousa took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oleg Ubinov. Oleg Ubinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dr Lecter SC had won after a very even match.
